These two are the most-asked-about pair in the catalogue, and the question is almost always phrased as what’s the difference between the normal one and the auto one. That phrasing contains an assumption worth dismantling first, because it is wrong, and being wrong about it leads people to the cheaper seed for the wrong reason.

Read the lineage row again. Critical Orange Punch is Critical crossed into a Grandaddy Purps × Orange Bud hybrid. Auto Critical Orange Punch is Orange Punch crossed with Auto Kritical Bilbo. Both roads lead back to Critical and to the Orange side of the library, which is why the family resemblance is real, but this is not one variety with a ruderalis gene bolted on. They were bred separately toward a similar target.
The practical consequence: do not assume the auto is a compromised version of the photoperiod. On the catalogue figures the auto is rated very high THC against the photoperiod’s high, and both are XXL yielders. The auto is not the budget option. Auto Critical Orange Punch: about 10 weeks seed to harvest. That is the whole cycle. There is no veg decision to make; the plant flowers on its own schedule regardless of what the lights or the sky are doing.
So the auto is not two weeks slower. It is meaningfully faster, and it is faster in a way that matters here specifically.
Why the format question is different in Thailand
Everywhere else in the world, choosing an autoflower is a trade — you give up size and some control in exchange for speed and simplicity. In Thailand there is a third factor that tilts the whole calculation, and it is day length.
Bangkok sits at about 13.7°N. The longest day of the year is roughly thirteen hours and twelve minutes. This does not make Critical Orange Punch a bad seed. It makes it an indoor or supplemented seed in this country. Auto Critical Orange Punch sidesteps the problem entirely. Ten weeks, no light schedule, no veg decision, and — the part that matters most in the wet season — a harvest date you can choose in advance. The straight answer
Growing outdoors or on a balcony, no supplementary light: Auto Critical Orange Punch. It is not close. The photoperiod version will disappoint you outdoors here for reasons that have nothing to do with the seed’s quality.
Growing indoors with a light schedule: Critical Orange Punch. Eight weeks of flower is genuinely fast for a photoperiod, the plant is a prize winner, and indoors you get to control the veg period and therefore the final size. You also get the option of running mother plants and cuttings, which an autoflower cannot give you.
First-ever grow, either environment: the auto. Fewer decisions, fewer things to get wrong, and a ฿360 single seed is a cheap way to find out whether you enjoy this.

A note on the price table
At one and three seeds the two cost exactly the same. The pack sizes diverge above that: the photoperiod goes 5 and 10, the auto goes 7.
