These three strains are bred so that CBD dominates and THC stays low. That is a genetic property, not a growing technique: you cannot turn a high-THC plant into a CBD plant with feeding or light. It has to be bred in, and stabilising it takes years of selection.
The point is a plant with cannabis’s therapeutic profile and little of its intoxicating one. People choose CBD-rich varieties for daytime use, for a gentler effect, or because they want to grow their own without the high.
All three come from Dutch Passion’s CBD Rich family, developed specifically to stabilise the cannabinoid ratio rather than simply to reduce THC.
Phenotype variation is normal here. Charlotte’s Angel in particular throws a noticeable range: some plants come out compact and fast with dense top buds, others stretch considerably with a longer flowering period and an open canopy. That variation is a documented characteristic of the line, not a fault in a particular pack, and it is a consequence of how recently these ratios were stabilised compared with decades-old THC varieties.
Flowering is slower. Eleven to thirteen weeks against eight for the fastest THC strains in the catalogue. In Thailand that longer run means more time exposed to humidity, so airflow and — for an outdoor grow — a rain shelter matter more with these than with a fast-finishing hybrid.
Harvest timing differs. Trichome colour is the usual guide for THC potency, but for a CBD-rich plant the cannabinoid ratio is reasonably stable across the ripening window, so there is less penalty for harvesting slightly early. If humidity is climbing, take the crop.
CBD is not a WooCommerce category on this shop; it is assembled from the strain data, grouping the varieties in the CBD Rich family together. The three plants and their pages are the same ones you will find under feminised, indica and sativa — this is simply the shortest route to them.
If you are new to CBD-rich growing, Charlotte’s Angel in its photoperiod form is the easier starting point: eleven weeks is the shortest run of the three, and indoors you control when it begins.
