What a hybrid is

Almost all modern cannabis is hybridised. The strains labelled hybrid here are the ones where neither indica nor sativa traits clearly dominate, so the plant takes structure from one parent and effect from the other in some deliberate combination.

That is not a compromise. Hybridising is how a breeder puts an eight-week indica flowering time onto a sativa’s yield, or a sativa’s effect onto a plant compact enough for a small room. Nine of the twenty-two strains in this catalogue are hybrids, and they include both the fastest and the strongest varieties available here.

The nine strains

  • Critical Orange Punch — high THC, eight weeks, XXL yield. Orange Punch genetics, the heaviest yielder in the group.
  • Frisian Dew — high THC, eight weeks, XXL yield. Bred for wet outdoor climates and the most mould-resistant strain in the catalogue.
  • Glueberry O.G. — very high THC, eight weeks, XL yield. USA Special family, resinous.
  • HiFi 4G — extremely high THC, eight weeks, XL yield. WiFi OG × Glueberry O.G.
  • Meringue — extremely high THC, eight weeks, XL yield. Sweet, dessert-like terpenes.
  • Mokum’s Tulip — extremely high THC, eight weeks, XL yield. Compact and very resinous.
  • Auto Cinderella Jack — extremely high THC, ten to eleven weeks from seed, XL yield. Autoflowering.
  • Auto Critical Orange Punch — very high THC, ten weeks, XXL yield. Autoflowering.
  • Auto Mimosa Punch — very high THC, ten to twelve weeks, L yield. Autoflowering.
  • Auto Ultimate — very high THC, twelve to fifteen weeks, XXL yield. Autoflowering.

Six of these finish in eight weeks, and four of those six are in the extremely high THC band — the combination of speed and potency that hybridising exists to produce.

Why hybrids work well here

The eight-week finishers are the most practical varieties in the catalogue for Thai conditions, for the reason that governs most growing decisions in this climate: less time in flower means less exposure to humidity and rain. A hybrid that finishes in eight weeks with an XXL yield rating gives up very little to a slower plant and avoids a month of bud-rot risk.

The four autoflowering hybrids solve the other Thai problem, which is day length. Close to the equator the nights never shorten enough to hold a photoperiod plant in vegetative growth, so an auto that flowers on age is often the more predictable outdoor choice.

Structure varies across the group — check each strain page before planning a screen or a sea-of-green.
